ReZor Nominator

Learn how to become a nominator on the ReZor blockchain. This guide covers staking, validator selection, rewards, and step-by-step instructions for safely participating in the Nominated Proof-of-Stake

1. Overview

In the ReZor blockchain, nominators play a vital role in the Nominated Proof-of-Stake (NPoS) system by staking RZR coins to support trustworthy validators who verify transactions and secure the network. In return, nominators earn a share of the validators’ rewards.

This guide provides clear instructions to help you become a nominator and manage your account on the ReZor blockchain.

Note: You need a minimum of 50 RZR to become a nominator.

2. Who are Nominators?

Nominators are participants in the ReZor blockchain who:

  • Stake their RZR coins to support up to 16 validators.

  • Help ensure validators act in the network’s best interest.

  • Earn rewards based on the performance of their chosen validators.

Key Points:

  • Nominators cannot nominate themselves as validators.

  • Rewards depend on the stake amount and validator performance.

3. The Nominator Application

7.3 Validators Overview

The Validators Overview gives you a quick summary of how many validators are currently running, how well the network is doing, and how rewarding it is to stake RZR tokens. It's a good starting point for both validators and delegators to check the health of the network.

  1. Total Validators

    1. This shows how many validators are currently active on the ReZor network.

    2. Example: If it says 60 validators, that means there are 60 different nodes helping secure the blockchain right now.

Why this matters:

  • More validators = better decentralization and higher network security

  • It shows the level of participation in block creation and voting

  • Helps ensure no single validator has too much power

Note: If the number is dropping, it could mean validators are going offline or losing stake — a potential red flag.

  1. Staking APY (Annual Yield)

    1. This tells you how much return (in %) Nominators can expect each year for staking their tokens.

    2. Example: If APR is 18.5%, and you stake 100 RZR, you could earn 18.5 RZR in a year — before fees or taxes.

Why it’s useful:

  • Helps Nominators decide if staking is worth it

  • Changes based on how many tokens are staked, how many rewards are being distributed, and the network’s inflation settings

7.4 Validator Tabs

The validator list is organized into three tabs to help you easily explore different groups based on their current status.

The validator list is organized into three tabs to help you easily explore different groups based on their current status.

  1. Active:

    1. These are the validators currently working, helping to produce blocks and earn rewards.

    2. They meet the minimum stake requirement and haven’t been penalized or deactivated.

  2. Waiting: Validators in this tab are in the queue to become active but haven’t yet met the criteria to join the active set. This could be due to:

    1. Insufficient total stake,

    2. Competition with higher-staked validators.

    3. They are registered but not yet participating in block production.

  3. Inactive:

    1. These validators are still registered but not currently participating in block production. This could be because of:

      1. Not enough stake

      2. Missed too many blocks

      3. Temporary downtime

  4. Slashed: Slashed validators have been removed from the network — either permanently or temporarily — due to serious faults or voluntary exit. Common causes for slashing include:

    1. Severe downtime or unresponsiveness,

    2. Malicious behavior or violation of network rules.

Slashed validators lose a portion of their staked tokens and are no longer eligible for rewards

7.5 Validator Details

When you click on any validator from the list in the Validators tab, you’re taken to the Validator Details page. This page provides important metrics that help you decide whether to nominate that validator with your stake.

This view is critical for nominators who want to maximize rewards while minimizing risks.

What You’ll See on the Validator Details Page

Each validator profile shows several key indicators:

  1. Wallet Address: This is the unique identifier of the validator. You can verify it when cross-checking validator activity or sharing with others.

  2. Commission: This is the percentage of staking rewards that the validator keeps before distributing the rest to nominators.

  • A 0% commission means you receive the full portion of your reward share.

  • Higher commission (e.g., 10%+) means the validator takes a larger cut.

Tip: Choose based on reward fairness and validator reliability.

  1. Total Stake: This is the total amount of RZR tokens currently staked to this validator — including:

  • Their own self-stake

  • Stake from all nominators

Tip: High total stake can signal trust, but may reduce individual yield.

  1. Uptime: Represents the validator's availability and reliability. A high uptime ensures the validator is online to produce blocks and avoid penalties.

Tip: Uptime of 0 may indicate inactivity or a new validator.

  1. Validator Since: The registration date when this validator joined the network.

    • A recent date may mean they are new.

    • Long-standing validators often have a proven track record.

  2. Nominators: Shows how many individual nominators have delegated to this validator.

Tip: A high number suggests community trust but can dilute rewards.

  1. Points: A performance metric that may include:

  • Number of blocks proposed or validated

  • Network contributions

  • Historical activity score

Tip: More points generally reflect strong validator performance.

8. Manage Account

To manage your nominations:

  1. Go to the "Manage Account" page from the left sidebar.

  2. Ensure you are on the "Info" tab.

  3. Here you’ll find your:
